Pickel Landscape Group was founded by Michael Pickel, a lifelong resident of Southern Chester County with more than 20 years of experience in the landscaping and green industry. Michael holds a degree from Penn State, a background that informs both his technical understanding of landscape systems and his commitment to continued learning and best practices.
In 2007, Michael purchased a small landscape company with the intention of building something sustainable, people-focused, and locally grounded. What began as a modest operation steadily expanded through reputation rather than aggressive marketing.
Over time, the company added multiple maintenance crews, dedicated project crews, a full-time landscape designer, and a project manager—creating the internal structure required to handle more complex scopes of work without sacrificing quality or accountability.
